Failed test for database access
This test applies to the following modules
- Email Manager
- Priority Manager
- Active Directory Manager
- Web Portal
Why the test failed
This test failed because the account that is being tested does not have sufficient access to the HelpMaster database. Each one of the module listed above requires read and write access to the HelpMaster database in order to perform their function.
How to fix it
- Ensure that your SQL Server instance is running and is connected to your computer network
- Ensure that the account that is being used is a network account. A local computer account is not sufficient in this instance.
- Review the information in Security Settings for the HelpMaster database
