Workflow line colour

Worfklow is a powerful feature of HelpMaster that can optimize the way that staff work with, and respond to open job/tickets. HelpMaster allows system administrators the ability to configure workflow/process flows for each job type that models the process that your organization uses for that particular job type.

Workflow can be as simple, or complex as you need.

One of the features of workflow that may get overlooked is the ability to colour-code connecting lines between workflow steps. By default, each line is grey, however, if you right-click on a line, you can select from the following:

• Line type
• Line style
• Line colour

Workflow can become complex with decision lines branching and going to other objects. A common thing is to loop back to a previous object. Use the line colour and/or pattern and style to visually indicate flow.

Remember, line syling of any type is purely cosmetic - it’s doesn’t affect the workflow in any way.

Green = Going forward Red = Going back
