IIS Setup
The HelpMaster web portal requires that Microsoft IIS v8.0 or greater be installed on the machine that is hosting the web portal.
The HelpMaster Web Portal is a Microsoft Blazor application that requires the “WebSocket Protocol” to be installed.
This is found under the Web Server (IIS) > Web Server > Application Development > WebSocket Protocol

Installing and configuring IIS 10
When configuring IIS 10 on Windows 10/11 or Server 2016+, ensure that at a minimum the following roles and features are selected:
Server 2022
Windows 11
Click Windows Start menu > type “Windows Features” and select “Turn Windows features on or off”
After making all of these changes, be sure to check for Windows Updates and reboot the machine.
