Action template administration

Action template administration

The administration of Action Templates is subject to the security permissions assigned to the logged-in user.

Creating a new action template

  1. Open the Action templates search screen by selecting Action templates from the Templates menu.
  2. Click on the New button.
  3. Enter the Title, Summary and Details.
  4. Check and select Job status and job assignation details as required.
  5. Set any Administration or time and expense requirements.
  6. Click on OK.

Updating a action template

  1. Open the Action templates search screen by selecting Action templates from the Templates menu.
  2. Select the required template,
  3. Click on the Update button.
  4. Make the necessary changes.
  5. Click on OK.

Deleting an action template

  1. Open the Action templates search screen by selecting Action templates from the Templates menu.
  2. Select the required template,
  3. Click on Delete.
  4. Click on Yes in the confirmation message box which will appear.

Using Template subscriptions

  1. Open the job.
  2. Click on the
  3. Select the template you wish to apply to the new job, from the drop down list.  *This will automatically fill in the associated areas of the action. *
  4. Complete the action details as required.
  5. Click on OK.
  6. Continue with applying the action to the job.

When creating action templates, make sure that you have already made any email templates that you wish to link to it.
