Testing a Parser

Once you have created an email parser, you will want to test it before using it in a live environment.  This will ensure that your text extraction parsers will work in the way that you desire.

From the main Email Parsing profile screen, click the “Test Email Parsing” button.

This will display the Email Parser Test screen.

To test a parser

1. Paste a copy of your sample text into the text box or drag an email from Outlook to the email icon
2. Click on the parser you wish to test in the parser list
3. Click the Run Test button and the result will be displayed in the Result text box
