Quick Start Guide - Overview

Welcome to the HelpMaster Quick Start Guide. This series of articles will guide you through some of the basic and advanced configuration steps that will get your helpdesk up and running in a short period of time.

This Quick Start Series has been divided into 2 parts and intended for the following roles :

HelpMaster administrators

This section of the quick-start guide is intended for the person(s) responsible for initially setting up and configuring HelpMaster, contains a logical sequence of steps intented to configure HelpMaster from scratch (blank database) to a minimum operating specification. It covers all of the basics to get up and running.

Administration quick start guide.

Non-administrators - general staff/agents

This section is intended for individual staff members who are new to HelpMaster, but who do not have an administrative role. In other words, you are using HelpMaster but are not responsible for the initial installation and configuration. Your role is to log, track and manage tickets that have been assigned to you, or your skillgroup.
